What to expect

How it works

Inspect first, treat where it's needed, and write down everything we did.

Tell us what's going on

Call, text, or use the form at the top of the page.

Inspect first

We find what the pest is, where it's coming from, and what's inviting it: ivy on the wall, mulch against the stucco, a leaky sprinkler, a gap under a door. You'll get photos of what we found.

Treat where it's needed

Every plan visit includes the exterior perimeter treatment and web removal. Inside and around the yard, we treat where we find activity, with baits where baits work. Driveways get spot treatment only, nothing goes toward storm drains, and we don't treat outdoors in the rain.

Record and return visit

After each visit you get a service record: what we found, what we applied and where, and what to watch for.

If it comes back, we come back.

On a plan, if pests come back between scheduled visits, we come back once at no charge. One-time services and specialty treatments include a 30-day return visit. That’s a promise to come back and re-treat. No honest company can promise results; we promise follow-through.

Old pesticides in the garage?

We’ll help you get rid of them the right way

Straight answers

Common questions

What about my pets and kids?

Straight answer: these are pesticides, made to kill pests, and we won't pretend otherwise. Here's what we do. Before we treat, you get the state's pesticide notice listing the products we'll use. We apply each one exactly as its label directs, and only where the label allows. If we treat inside, you and your pets stay off treated areas until they're dry, and we'll tell you how long before we start. Where bait works, we put bait in cracks, crevices and stations instead of a liquid treatment. After every visit, your service record lists what we applied, how much, and where.

Is there a contract?

No long-term contract. You can stop your plan anytime, and we give you 30 days' notice before any price change.

How do I check your license?

Open the state's license search, choose Structural Pest Control Board, and search 15151. You'll see Colyn Barringer's Operator license.

Do I need to be home?

No, you do not need to be home for us to complete our service. In fact, if you are having an interior of a home or unit treated, we will ask that you and your pets stay out until the treatment has dried, as the product label requires. Drying time depends on the product and the room, and we'll tell you before we start how long to plan for.

What's included in a routine visit?

A full exterior perimeter treatment, web removal at eaves and entry points, a check of any bait stations, and a look for new activity. Interior treatment is included whenever there's something going on inside.

How fast will I see results?

Depends on the issue and method of treatment, but generally speaking most results become noticeable within about a week's time. We're very communicative during our treatments, and often we can give you a more accurate estimate in the moment!

Is this really worth it?

Pest Control is easily the hardest service to see the value of over time. Once we solve the problem and the coming months after it's easy to take our service for granted. This however is the exact mental fallacy that allows whatever problem it is that you called us about to come back easily. Think of our service as Pest Emergency Insurance, especially when the weather is naturally kinder for keeping problems at bay. With us on routine to your home, we promise that any emergency is taken care of personally and that no issue goes unanswered.

What if it rains?

Light rain doesn't affect a dried treatment. If rain is forecast right after a visit, we'll reschedule so the product has time to set. We also have other options, like baits, for wet weather.
